The brief
Elli Johnson writes poetry, hosts a podcast, runs events and has a book out. The website needed to give each of these its own space while still feeling like one body of work, and it had to be simple to keep up to date without technical help.
What we built
A minimal, grid-based site where the writing comes first. Each section has its own character but sits within one consistent style, so visitors can move between poems, episodes and events without losing their place.

- A dedicated section for poems, with typography chosen for comfortable reading.
- Podcast
- Episodes with descriptions and links to listen.
- Events
- Upcoming events and appearances, with the details and booking information for each.
- Book
- The published work, with the details and links to buy a copy.
- Blog and Body
- Sections for posts and personal reflections, updated through a simple content editor.
- Social links and search
- Links through to Instagram and Patreon, and a site search for finding older pieces.
